John is the Executive Chairman, founder and Executive Director of eCargo. John is chairman and founder of eCargo’s largest shareholder, JL Enterprises. John is Group Managing Director and founder of CS Logistics. John is the Managing Director and founder of Cargo Services, a principal operating subsidiary of the CS Logistics group of companies and Managing Director and founder of Xin Hai Hua Enterprises.
Mr Christopher LauNon-Executive Director
Christopher is Assistant Managing Director of Cargo Services. He is Founder of eCargo and was the CEO and Executive Director until March 2018. Christopher is also a co-founder and Vice-Chairman of WWE & Company and MyMM.com.
Mr Rupert MyerNon-Executive Director
Rupert is Director of Amcil Limited. He serves as Chairman of Nuco Pty Limited and as a director of The Myer Family Investments Pty Ltd and Mutual Trust Pty Ltd.
Mr Heath ZarinNon-Executive Director
Heath is Managing Director and founder of EmergeVest, a Hong Kong based private equity firm. Heath was previously Managing Director and Head of Principal Investments, Asia-Pacific, for HSBC, with responsibility for Asian proprietary private investment activities. Heath founded Emergent Investment Group (EIG), a Hong Kong-based private investment firm, where he completed private equity investments and advised on special situations.
Mr Yuming ZouNon-Executive Director
Yuming serves Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development at Jianke. In this role, he manages Jianke’s finance team, with responsibility for accounting & controls, financial planning & analysis, liquidity management, corporate finance, and evaluation/due diligence of M&A targets. He also partners with various business units across the company, with a focus on market development opportunities and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Jianke, Yuming spent 15 years at J.P. Morgan, most recently as Executive Director in JPMorgan’s Hong Kong Corporate Derivatives Trading team, where he focused on origination, execution, and risk management for listed equity margin loans/collars, and structured equity financing transactions collateralized by illiquid assets. He joined JPM in 2003 as part of the Asia M&A / Corporate Finance team (based in Hong Kong), and was involved with a number of high profile M&A and Equity Capital Markets projects in the Greater China region across the Technology, Oil & Gas, and Transportation sectors. His past transactions included advising CNOOC (oil & gas) on its attempted US$18.5bn bid to acquire Unocal Corp., serving in JPMorgan’s role as exclusive financial advisor to China Southern Airlines in its purchase of China Northern Airlines and Xinjiang Airlines from its parent company, and advising China COSCO on its US$1.2bn Hong Kong IPO. After several years in Asia, Yuming moved to New York as part of JPMorgan’s Hedge Fund Derivatives Group, with a focus on structuring and executing transactions with alternative investment managers, including secured credit facilities (liquidity/leverage), customized index total return swaps, principal protected products, and investor-oriented leverage products. In 2011, he relocated to JPMorgan’s Shanghai office, with a focus on strategy and business development across JPM’s China Joint-Ventures, with specific focus on JPM’s 19.9% investment into Bridge Trust, a specialty asset manager focused on asset-backed lending, and structured financing transactions. Yuming was born in Beijing, China, and grew up in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics magna cum laude and a Master of Arts degree in Statistics from Harvard University, and is also a CFA charterholder.
